Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary, near Kumbhalgarh in Rajasthan, is a haven for nature enthusiasts. Spanning diverse landscapes, it shelters wildlife like deer, leopards, and various bird species. This beautiful and diverse sanctuary 25 kilometres away from Chittorgarh city, is home to trees like Dhok, Salar, Churel, Butea; and also shelters animals like Panthers, Chitals, Wild Boars, Hyenas, Jackals, Four Horned Antelopesamong others. The footfall in the sanctuary is usually on the lower side, so a visit to this location ensures solitude and peace, perforated only by the soothing sounds of nature.

There are two viewpoints inside the sanctuary from where one can get a birds-eye view of the entire forest. The Bassi Dam close by is another attraction. The sanctuary is open to tourists all-round the year, though it flourishes into extradordinary beauty in the autumnal months of October and November.
