The Bramhagiri hill is a beautiful mountain range in the Western Ghats that attracts both nature lovers and adventure seekers, making it one of the best places to visit in Coorg. The trek from Iruppu Falls to Bramhagiri peak is a moderate trek filled with dense forests, river streams, and diverse flora and fauna. The Bramhagiri Wildlife Sanctuary is spread over 181 square kilometres. It houses the lion-tailed macaque, Malabar giant squirrel, and various birds, including the Malabar trogon and emerald dove. You can enjoy the region with activities like a safari, wildlife photography, nature walk, and bird watching expeditions.
The place also holds a lot of spiritual significance with the sacred Iruppu Falls, associated with Lord Rama and Lakshmana. The ancient Thirunelli Temple, Trimbakeshwar Temple, and the Brahmagiri Temple are also nestled in the hills, adding to its serene beauty.
