Located on the eastern edge of La Digue, Grand Aslin is the longest beach in the city. The wide beach is home to several upscale seaside resorts, making it a popular place to stay while in La Digue. The calm and shallow waters at the beach makes it ideal for swimming.

A number of water sports can be tried here as well, such as windsurfing, snorkeling or diving. Several rentals are available here as well. The beach generally remains empty, or at least quiet enough to find a private spot under the shades.
