Visit the Via Sacra:

Via Sacra is alternatively known as the Holy Road and is apt for starting your exploration from here. Experts agree that this was the main street of the Roman Forum where a lot of processions used to take place, ranging from religious to even funeral processions. It is 600 metres long and has columns on both sides. So as you walk on this path, make sure you see the marks on the road as they were left by carriage wheels that drove on this same path many years ago.

Visit Arch of Titus:

In the Imperial Forum, the Arch of titus takes pride in being the oldest arch of victory. This was built in 81 AD by Emperor Titus. This was built to commemorate the victory over the conquest of Jerusalem and the Roman suppression of the Judean uprising. The arch used to have a lot of motifs that do not exist today, but you can also see one motif of Titus ascending to heaven on an eagle.

Visit Basilica of Constantine

A major part of the Roman Forum is covered by the Basilica of Constantine. This was constructed during the tenure of Emperor Maxentius and today, only 3 vast vaults remain. It is believed that the basilica was as big as a football ground and today, only ⅓ of the basilica remains.
