Maharaj Baug & Zoo

Several years ago, the rulers of the Bhonsle Dynasty had built this park which was later renovated and restructured into a botanical park. Now, it is home to several birds and animals who rest in their habitat and attract tourists on a daily basis.

It is said that some of the birds spotted here have never been spotted in any other part of the country. So a visit here, for a one day picnic can be the best idea to explore the baug.
