Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, Pattaya

During your trip to Thailand, spend a day at Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, an unusual garden and one of the prides of Pattaya. This tropical garden is spread over 600 acres of land and showcases the beauty of a 17th century French Garden along with a European Renaissance Garden. This huge garden, which is the world's largest botanical garden, has 30 themed gardens along with mini zoos, bird parks etc. The garden has a mesmerising view of a colourful painting with diverse varieties of colourful flowers blooming everywhere. The marvellous architecture of the elaborate constructions in the midst of the gardens has made it a masterpiece of landscape design. History of Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden:

It was in the year 1954 that Mrs Nongnooch Tansacha and Mr Pisit bought 1,500 rai (approximately 600 acres) of land, consisting of the valley and rolling hills between Pattaya and Sattahip on Sukhumvit Road in Na Jomtien, to build a fruit plantation. Mrs Nongnooch went for a trip abroad during which she was fascinated by the beauty of some of the world’s renowned gardens and decided to turn the fruit plantation into a tropical garden. She put in years of hard work, and finally, in 1980, the garden was opened to the public. Gradually, the garden turned into a tourist attraction with a swimming pool, restaurants, seminar halls, banquet hall and accommodations. Later on, two shows - The Thai cultural show and the Elephant Show, were added, and the garden was handed over to her son, Mr Kampon Tansacha.

1. Columbia Pictures Aquaverse: If you are travelling with children, a must place to visit is the world’s first Columbia Pictures theme and water park, which has been opened in October 2021 by Sony Pictures Entertainment and Amazon Falls. Have fun touring the exhibits from different movies, splash in the water park and enjoy state-of-the-art rides and themed attractions from movies such as Jumanji, Men in Black, Ghostbusters, Hotel Transylvania, and Bad Boys.
2. Ramayana WaterPark: Go for a family outing to the biggest theme parks in Thailand and have fun splashing down the slides at the Ramayana Water Park. Ride the Master roller coaster or the Aqua Coaster, which is more than 6 meters in diameter, or simply splash down one of the twenty-one water slides.
