About Pine Tree Trail

Pine Tree Trail is a never-ending trail located on Malaysia’s famous Fraser’s Hill. The trail was introduced with the primary aim of giving tourists a panoramic view of the countryside.

Highlights – It is the longest trail on Fraser’s Hill and the tallest peak on this trail is 1505m above sea level. At the base of the trail, one can still find a rare species of deer, which is found only here and nowhere else. The trail is very challenging and requires a lot of mental and physical will power.

Facts – The entire trail is about 5.5km long and it takes around 8 hours to scale the peak and come back to the base again. One has to wade through lots of insects, dense growth of trees, unruly terrain and other challenges throughout the length of this trail.

Timings – September to February.

Fee – No permit or trekking charges; however close to RM150 needed for personal expenses.
