The edifice is named after a patron saint of Scotland and was established on November 30, 1843. It was renovated in 1873 after a massive earthquake hit the area. Since then, it has become every visitor’s delight.

This old Anglican church is set amidst the mall area and thus, it invites a lot of attention of the locals and the tourists. It is recommended to dress modestly in case you are visiting the Church because the local Scottish people are quite protective of the sacred space of the Church.

We were on a vacation in Kerla for which we booked from the resort from the website of Thrillophilia, it had a very smooth and easy booking process. We stayed at the Purity At Lake Vembanad, a great resort on lakeside. Not only were our stays beautiful and comfortable, but we also enjoyed the couple foot massage that was included in our package. Our rooms offered great views and even had a private terrace. Worth the experience.
