This is a spacious park located on the southern part of the Togetsukyo bridge. After a long time of exploring the Togetsukyo bridge, this is usually the go to place for those who want to unwind. Apart from walking, this park is also a great place to take a rest. During the summer season, the park comes alive with cherry blossoms at its best. The best part of this park is you do not need any admission fee to enter the premises.

Go boating in a Yakatabune boat

This is more of a laid back option of going on a boat ride in Kyoto. Here, you will travel on a traditional boat made from wood and will be rowed around using a bamboo pole. The journey is 1 kilometre long and can take up to 30 minutes for the journey to end. To try out this experience, you will have to book your pass well in advance. Boarding points for this boating experience are on both sides of the Togetsukyo bridge.

Try out the Hozugawa Kudari

The Hozugawa Kudari is a boat ride that is apt for thrill seekers. Here, you will travel on a boat that descends from Kameoka to Togetsukyo at thrilling speeds.
