Nestled at a height of 12,500 ft, Tukla Valley is the lesser-known yet mesmerising destination on the old Silk Route of Sikkim. It is particularly famous for offering stunning panoramic views of the majestic Himalayan ranges including Mount Kanchenjunga. During the autumn season, the valley turns into a beautiful red and yellow landscape due to the freshly bloomed flowers. However, during winter, it turns into a winter paradise, covering the entire landscape with a thick blanket of snow.
A major attraction in Tukla Valley is the war memorial which was built to commemorate the British soldiers who died during the Battle of Tukla. You can also visit the famous Kupup Lake through a small hike through the mountains.
