Vinh Trang Pagoda is a famous religious site which is situated in the heart of the Mekong Delta. The beautiful pagoda is known for its architectural magnificence, rich history, and cultural and religious significance. Spread over 20,000 sq m, the pagoda is a place of worship for the Buddhists and many visit the place for pilgrimage and to find healing.


Vinh Trang temple also attracts thousands of visitors due to its unique fusion of architecture from Eastern to Western. You will witness a blend of Vietnamese, French, Roman, Chinese and Khmer styles of architecture in the pagoda while you explore the place. The pagoda is also famous for its 60 exquisite golden-gilded Buddha statues crafted in various materials such as wood, bronze, copper, terracotta, and cement. Apart from this, the pagoda is also well known for its three giant statues of Buddha. They are the Maitreya Buddha, the Amitabha Buddha and the Shakyamuni Buddha in the nirvana posture.
