Wadi Bani Khalid, Muscat

The most visited of Oman’s Wadi, Wadi Bani Khalid is as renowned for its serenity as it is for its beauty. The desert oasis is fringed with swaying palms on all sides, while the clear green lakes here remain filled throughout the year.

Apart from the main pool, the Wadi has a number of smaller, seasonal pools which can be accessed for swimming. The ravines around the oasis are scattered with occasional caves, promising a fun time for the explorer in you.
