Sanctuary forest on the top of the village. Guests can go on a guided trek to Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary. Nestled between the Kanchendzonga Biosphere Reserve on its north and the Singalila National Park on its South, the sanctuary has around 600 varieties of Rhododendron along with other kinds of flora. Sprawled across an area of 104 sq. km, the place is renowned for being home to Red Panda and Black Bear, the rare Himalayan species.At the stay, guests can participate in a number of activities such as explore the village with a walk, cooking with family, volunteer in farming activity, etc. Later, guests can spend the beautiful evening while enjoying a barbeque in the warmth of a bonfire with local drinks with friends or family.How to reach:The stay is around 145 km from NJP railway station and Bagdogra airport.
