1. Namtok Ron Khlong Thom: An important element of Krabi tourism are the natural Hot Springs of Krabi, owing to the area’s year-round hot temperatures. Located in a small jungle, a short distance from Krabi town, Namtok Ron Khlong Thom is one of the most popular tourist destinations.

Krabi has a tropical climate, all year-round. Monsoon is from May to October, November to February is dry but pleasant, March to May is hot and humid owing to the oncoming rains.

1. November to February:  While November may witness heavy spells of monsoon that continue from the previous months, the monsoons recede by mid-November and the weather is pleasant for the next few months. On a rare occasion, when it gets slightly cold, the temperature may drop to 20°C.

2. March to May:  These are the months when Krabi is extremely hot! Owing to the onset of monsoon, the weather is very humid and the temperatures are as high as 36°C. Temperatures are still relatively low in March, which makes for a good time to visit.

You might experience some short spells of pre-monsoon showers during these months, especially in April and May.

3. June to October: Krabi witnesses monsoon in June and while there may not be heavy rainfall every day, there is still abundant rainfall accompanied by strong sea breeze. Owing to the strong winds, most of the tourist spots are shut during these months.

There are frequent high-tides and temperatures are relatively high. In fact, the temperature of Krabi rarely drops below 30°C. Krabi is also prone to tropical cyclones, which are formed near the Arabian Sea and move towards the Bay of Bengal. This happens primarily from April to June and October to December, however, there is a chance of these cyclones occurring anytime between April and December.
