The nearest airport to Auli is Jolly Grant located in Dehradun district at a distance of 268 kms.The road from Joshimath to Auli ski Resort (17 km) is a steep climb from about 5000 feet to 10,000 feet above sea level. The roads are unfit for winters and resorts can only be accessed by cable car.
