About the Activity:

  • Take part in this 4D/3N adventurous trek to Chandrashila and witness the serene beauty of freezing Himalayan mountains.
  • Start your trip from Rishikesh at around 08:30 AM in the morning, meet the group and then drive for about 8 hours to Sari village.
  • Enjoy the spectacular drive in which you will see the Ganga, Alaknanda, Mandakini rivers and then you will be stunned with the sight of Deoriatal lake.
  • Relish the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayan mountains, as you start your trek to Chopta and get mesmerized by the beauty of cedar forests and meadows.
  • Visit Chandershila and marvel at the prominent peaks like Garhwal, Nanda Devi, Kedarnath, Trishul, Bandarpoonch from the top of the hill.
  • Relax after a hectic trekking in the tents at Chopta and cherish the moments of trekking on your return journey to Rishikesh. 

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Rishikesh to Sari and then to Deorital lake

    Start your trip around 8:00 AM from Rishikesh and then you will be travelling to Sari that will take about 8 hours.

    Enjoy the beauty of the Ganga, Alakananda and Mandakini rivers and en route, visit Devprayag.

    After reaching Sari village, start trekking to the beautiful lake Deoriatal (2300m).

    Relax at the campsite by strolling around the serene place around the lake and enjoy dinner with a soothing nature nearby.

  • Day 2 -

    Trek from Deoriatal lake to Chopta (2800m/5-6hrs)

    View the beautiful sunrise from the top of the hill and then start your trek to Chopta after breakfast.

    Walk through the dense forest which will definitely delight you and rivet in the sights of some serene meadows and greenery.

    After having lunch, relax in the tents at Chopta cherishing the memories of a wonderful trekking experience.

  • Day 3 -

    Chopta to Chandrashila

    Get ready for a 4000m long trek to Chandrashila in which you will be passing through different types of thick forests.

    Have the majestic sight of the prominent peaks such as Garhwal from Chandrashhila top.

    Also, relish the beautiful view of Nanda devi, Kedarnath, Trishul, Bandarpponch etc from the top of the hill.

    Take the opportunity to roam around the area and post which, trek back to the campsite at Chopta (7Km/6hrs) for an overnight stay.

  • Day 4 -

    Back to Rishikesh

    Have your breakfast, board the vehicle and get driven back to Rishikesh and carry a bag full of thrilling memories. The return journey takes about 8-9 hrs and upon arrival in Rishikesh the tour ends.
