Koh Samet Day Tour Overview

Thailand has many beautiful islands on its periphery, and certainly the most beautiful is Koh Samet. It is in Rayong Province, just 70 kms and a short speed-boat ride from Pattaya, and the destination is worth the journey.

Koh Samet is a small island, just 16 sq km in area, and is known for its white dazzling sand beaches which illuminate brightly in the sunshine. It is home to the Koh Samet National Park, which has a huge variety of flora and fauna. One particular kind of tree on the island is famous as it is believed that its bark has healing powers, and the island is named on the tree.

The island is not very crowded and has brilliant scenic beauty which can be explored on a rented motorbike. Most residents are the local fishermen and some restaurants and hotel owners. So the island is almost perfect to have a quiet peaceful day.

Indulge in some activities like wave runner, parasailing and banana boat ride, or sit back and relax by the beach restaurants serving delicious food and drinks. Get your tropical suntan before the sun sets. And when it does, admire the crimson sun setting in the deep ocean, just to rise again tomorrow.

The night calls for a celebration. Watch the lit fire show by the beach and have an unforgettable time at the island.

09:30  Travelling by speedboat to Koh Samet.

10:00  Swimming and sunbathing at Ao Pai bay. Sun chairs and umbrellas are provided.

16:20  Sailing off from Ao Pai Bay and going to Rayong.

18:00 - 18:30  Transfer to hotels.
