Away from the maddening crowds, experience the infusion of modern elements and European architecture as you step in the villa. Decorated with souvenirs and artefacts from the family’s travels around the world, the house gives you a sense of comfort and warmth making it a perfect escape for a staycation. 

Spend some time away from work with a book on the patio or soak in the sun while lounging in the gazebo till it's time to savour delicious meals prepared by the in-house cook/housekeeper.

About the rooms:
Giving a sense of home-away-from-home, the stay has two bedrooms each offering a solace laced with essential amenities and luxurious comfort. The double beds with soft mattress, the ensuite bathrooms, amenities like air conditioning, room heating, TV, clothes iron, and more ensure comfort. The windows open to the views of the mountains and Mussoorie and endless clear, blue sky. Each room can accommodate two adults.

There is also a work-desk in the bedrooms if you want to make it your office for the next few days.

About meals:
The stay is well-known for the scrumptious meals cooked in the kitchen here. Homely, delicious meals made using fresh, local produce, the spread served will leave you satiated. Do not miss out tasting the dal and the North Indian subzis' that is a chef's speciality. You can also request them for non-vegetarian and continental dishes, however, it is advisable to inform in advance since this is a home.

Breakfast is included in the package, whereas lunch and dinner can be ordered on a-la-carte basis at an additional cost.

About activities:
- Explore the villages around the villa to witness village life and lose yourself amidst simplicity

Suggested activities:
- Take a walk through the forest and then descend to the riverside to lounge by the river. You can also take a quick dip!
- Trek to Karni Mata Temple that is situated on the top of the hill opposite the stay. This half an hour’s trek is worth the view.
- Visit the city of Dehradun to check out a few places like the Robber's Cave, Sahastradhara Waterfall, Mindrolling Monastery
- Take a day trip to the mountains of Mussoorie and Landour

About access to common areas:
Sit in the common living room that is flooded with natural light and offers a comfortable sitting area in case you want to work from here. The guests also have access to the dining area, and the patio and the garden that are full of beautiful plants and flowers, merging beautifully into the scenic views around.

About safety and hygiene:
- The retreat has increased the frequency of cleaning public areas (including the lobby, doorknobs, common washrooms, etc.)
- Hand gloves being used when carrying out cleaning work and when handling waste
- The rooms and the entire stay is deep cleaned before every check in and post every check out
- There are antibacterial hand sanitizers available throughout the property
- Social distancing is maintained
- Daily temperature monitoring of the staff

About the host:
The hosts Unnati and Subhash are a vivacious couple who built this retirement home in the lap of nature and have now opened the doors for others to experience the same solace. Gracious and loving, they would certainly make your vacation all the more special. They also have a Golden Retriever, Amigo who loves playing with people and is the perfect furry companion.

About its accessibility:
The stay is an hour's drive away from the Dehradun airport, and merely a few minutes away from the Dehradun railway station. The drive to the stay offers spectacular views that will leave you energized instead of tired. There is free parking available on the premises for private vehicles.
