Itinerary

• Day 1 - Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport (80 km – 3 hours by road)

  After breakfast is served at the hotel, you will be driven towards the Bagdogra Airport. With your arrival at the airport, this rural tour of Sikkim will come to a delightful end. 

• Day 2 - Sightseeing in Kalimpong

  Durbin Dara Monastery, Explore other tourist destinations

  On the second day of the trip; after breakfast, a sightseeing trip of Kalimpong will be arranged. Besides its natural beauty, this hilly tourist destination also offers a number of sightseeing delights to its visitors. You can visit the Durbin Dara Monastery, located at the highest point in Kalimpong and will provide you spectacular views of the Teesta River. You can spend the rest of the day visiting other tourist destinations such as the Jelapla View Point, Pine View Point, Chitra Bhanu, Kalim Temple, Cactus and Orchid Nursery and several other places too. Wind up your trip and return to the hotel in the evening; overnight stay in Kalimpong.

• Day 3 - Kalimpong to Neora Valley (32 km – 1  hour by road)

  Transfer to Neora Valley Jungle Camp

  On the third morning, you will be transferred to Neora Valley, one of the most beautiful places that offers luxuriant greenery and spectacular natural beauty. On reaching Neora Valley, you can check into a luxurious eco resort which offers comfortable accommodation and a breathtaking view of the majestic Mount Kanchenjunga; overnight stay at Neora Valley.

• Day 4 - Neora Valley Jungle Camp

  Trekking, Neora Valley National Park, Sightseeing

  The Neora Valley National Park is one of the richest biological zones in the entire of North Eastern part of India. It is best known as the home of the elusive Red Panda, beautiful Rhododendron trees and dense bamboo groves. On the fourth day of the trip, you will get the opportunity to explore this wonderful bio reserve and gain an unforgettable experience of this amazing conservation ground. You will start out for the national park after breakfast and undertake a soft trek. After lunch, you can explore the surroundings of the Neora Valley Jungle Camp. Come evening, return to the hotel and enjoy your meal and overnight stay.

• Day 5 - Neora Valley Jungle Camp to Rinchenpong (Yangsum Farm) (115 km – 5 hours by road)

  After the exhilarating experience in Neora Valley, you will head out for Rinchenpong on the fifth day. Also known as Richenpong, it is a small village in Sikkim and is best known for its beautiful Rigsum Monastery. It is also quite popular among trekkers as it offers a number of interesting and challenging trekking trails. On reaching Rinchenpong, you can take the day for resting. Overnight stay in Rinchenpong.

• Day 6 - Rinchenpong

  Sunrise View, Sightseeing Tour, Monastery Visit, Lepcha Heritage House

  The sixth morning begins early in the morning as you will be taken to the mountains to enjoy the spectacular views of sunrise. Post this, return to the hotel and have breakfast. Here onwards, you will be taken to visit some of the most important tourist destinations in Rinchenpong such as the Richenpong Monastery, the Resung Monastery and the Lepcha Heritage House. The Rinchenpong Monastery is an 18th century monastery and is the third oldest monastery in Sikkim. Post this visit, you will be guided back to the hotel.  

• Day 7 - Rinchenpong

  Local village exploration

  Today, will be at leisure. However, after having breakfast you can also opt for spending time amidst the vicinity of the hotel and explore the locales. Interact with the native people and get acquainted with their cultures and traditions; overnight stay in the hotel.

• Day 8 - Rinchenpong to Ravongla (35 km – 1 hour by road)

  Transfer to Ravongla

  You will start early on the eighth day after breakfast and proceed to the beautiful destination of Ravongla. The whirling terrains connecting these two destinations will keep you enchanted all the way. Upon arrival in Ravongla, check-in into the hotel and relax for the day.

• Day 9 - Ravongla (Ravangla)

  Ralang Monastery, Temi Tea Garden, Damche Town, Mt Kanchenjunga

  After having breakfast in the hotel, you will be taken for a sightseeing tour of Ravongla. Being one of the high altitude towns in Sikkim, it offers panoramic views of the Mt Kanchenjunga, Mt Pandim and Mt Kabru. Ralang Monastery, Temi Tea Gardens and Damche Town will also be visited; overnight stay in the hotel.
