The Barcelona Botanical Garden (Jardí Botànic de Barcelona) is a botanical garden located in the Montjuïc mountains of Barcelona. The garden was founded in 1999 and occupies an area of over 15 hectares. The garden is home to more than 1,000 plant species, as well as a library, herbarium, and research center. 

The Barcelona Botanical Garden is divided into a series of terraces. The lower terraces are home to the Mediterranean Garden, which features plants from the Mediterranean region. The upper terraces are home to the Arid Garden, which features plants from arid regions of the world. The gardens also feature a series of ponds and streams. 

You can also find five other sections based on the different locations of the world where the trees and plants come from. In addition to the Australia section where you can find the Silicon Shrubs, you can also head to the South Africa section, which is home to the Savanna trees.
