Camp Nou, Barcelona

Spotify Camp Nou, home of FC Barcelona, is a mammoth of a stadium both in terms of size and attendance capacity. Camp Nou was constructed from 1954 to 1957, and it hosted its inaugural match between FC Barcelona and a team of Warsaw residents on September 24, 1957. Originally, Camp Nou had two levels and could accommodate 93,000 fans but now the camp can accommodate a total of 99,354 making it the biggest stadium in Europe in terms of capacity it holds.

Once known as Estadi del FC Barcelona, the stadium is now commonly known as Camp Nou. Both the 1972 and 1982 Cup Winners' Cup Finals were held at this stadium. 1. By Car: You can take a taxi along Travessera de les Corts, and you'll get there in about 15 minutes. But for those driving in from the west, the best route into Barcelona is along the Avenida Diagonal (B-23), which can be accessed via the Ronda de Dalt (the motorway that runs through the city's outskirts). 

2. By Metro: The Camp Nou stadium is conveniently located near a metro stop. Badal and Collblanc on the blue line are the closest stations (Line 5). There are signs along the way that will lead you to the stadium, which is only a five-minute stroll from the either. Stops along the blue line can be found at Sagrada Familia, Diagonal, and Sants Estació. From the city centre, the quickest way to reach Camp Nou is to take the green line (Line 3), and alight at either Maria Cristina or Palau Reial, which are both within a 5- to 10-minute walk of the stadium. Plaça Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia, and Liceu are all stops on the green line.

Spotify Camp Nou is most enjoyable to visit between 10 AM and 3 PM on weekdays during October to March to avoid the queues and explore the stadium at your own pace. This is the time when the crowd is less and you get to see all the things with much more time in one of the most visited places in Barcelona.

Here is the list of rules and regulations to keep in mind :

• Any large items, including baby strollers, that could potentially block an exit will not be allowed entry to the Stadium.
• A responsible adult aged 18 or older must accompany all minors (defined as those younger than 14) on the premises at all times.
• At all times, spectators must follow the directions of law enforcement, private security, emergency personnel, and the public address system.
• Any weapons, including but not limited to sharp objects, knives, blades, and firearms, are strictly prohibited in the stadium.
• It is against the rules for spectators to enter the stadium with loud instruments, whether mechanical or not, like megaphones and compressed air hooters.
• Photos and videos taken by fans at a game must be used solely for their own personal entertainment.

• Avoid visiting on a game day
• Don't forget to explore the museum at camp nou
• Take advantage of the touristic bus
• Come early if you wish to come on a match day to explore the stadium in the early hours
• Explore the shop at the museum extensively, you might get a good deal
• A sweater or blanket is recommended if you plan on attending a game in the stadium during the winter months, and an umbrella if precipitation is in the forecast. The majority of the seats do not have any sort of roof over them.
• Ride your bike to the game! There is convenient and secure bike parking at the stadium, and getting there from the city centre doesn't take long at all. 
• Need a scarf to show your support but forgot to bring one? To calm your nerves, there are plenty of places to buy official Barça merchandise close to the stadium. You can pre-purchase it at a number of locations throughout the downtown area.
