Canterbury Plains

The Canterbury Plains in New Zealand's South Island are flat, fertile lands between the Pacific Ocean to the east and the Southern Alps to the west. Spread over more than 20,000 square kilometers, it is an architectural land known for its temperate climate, rich soils, and picturesque landscapes.
