Now it's one of the best places to shop in, whether it be for Spices, hard to find Asian foods and numerous knock-off items such as shoes, clothes, purses, headphones, etc. The biggest attraction in Chinatown is the Paddy's Market which is stuffed with shops and stalls selling everything you can think of.

ChinaTown Sydney started in the early 1900s when the first Chinese immigrants arrived here. This little Chinese Colony has everything from tiny tucked away noodle stalls to late night karaoke bars and hidden fine-dining restaurants. While you are here, take part in the week long celebrations of Lunisolar New Year that are celebrated by Korean, Vietnamese, Mongolian and Chinese people. You can also enjoy many world class, historically accurate shows at the Capitol Theater.

The colony itself is filled with Gardens, lakes, lush green areas, and Koi Ponds. Enjoy an incomparable shopping experience at the boutiques, markets and high-end stores that have been there since colonial times.
