The best time to visit Neer Garh Waterfall is post monsoon in October to mid November as you will witness the waterfall in its best possible form. 

Summer: The months from early March to the first week of May sustains a soothing temperature which is best to escape the scorching sun into the wilds. However, you might not enjoy the waterfall at its best.

Monsoon: May to September are the months when the hill station receives very heavy rainfall which flourishes the cascade to fall with immense force. However, you must keep in mind that heavy rains results in landslides and even the strong rains will make your outdoor tours difficult.

Winter: The months from October to February are the winter months. As the hill town receives snow flakes in extreme cold, you can plan your trip in between early October to mid November.

1. Lakshman Jhula: Built in 1929, the Lakshman Jhula is a suspension bridge constructed over the river Ganga. It connects the village Tapovan in Tehri Garhwal district to the village Jonk in Pauri Garhwal district.

2. Patna Waterfall: Situated 7 KM away from Lakshman Jhula, Patna Waterfall is gushing freely in a small village in Rishikesh called Patna. You will also get to explore a limestone cave which is situated right next to the waterfalls.

3. Ram Jhula: Ram Jhula is a suspension bridge built in 1986. It connects Shivananda Nagar and Swargashram over the river Ganga.

A large number of tourists flock to the bridge to capture a 360-degree view of the gushing river Ganga and the tranquil woods at the foothills of the mighty Himalayas.

4. Triveni Ghat: The biggest ghat in Rishikesh, Triveni Ghat is situated on the banks of the sacred river Ganga. It has been mentioned in the holy books of Ramayana and Mahabharata being a very important part of the stories.

Also, ‘Maha Aarti’ is conducted here every evening at the ghat which is picturesque and worthy to be witnessed and framed.

By Air: The nearest airport to the falls would be Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. You can catch a bus or hire a taxi to reach the waterfall. It would take around an hour to cover this distance of 26 KM.

By Train: Rishikesh Railway Station is just 9 KM away from the waterfall. You should find a train stopping at this junction. You can get down here to fetch a bus, a local ferry or hire a taxi to reach your destination.

By Road: Rishikesh Bus Stand is the nearest bus stand to fall with the distance of 8.5 KM. It would take around 30 mins to cover this distance in a jeep or a hired cab.
