Rajbagh Beach is only 4 km south of Palolem Beach in South Goa's Canacona region. It has about 1 km of beautiful golden sand and is surrounded by graceful palm and pine trees.

The beaches of Goa are busy, but Rajbagh is peaceful and private because of luxury resorts like The LaLiT Golf & Spa Resort and InterContinental that line its shores. However, the public is welcome, making it a peaceful getaway.

The water is calm and safe for swimming, and there are trained lifeguards on duty. Unique things to do include hand-paddled ferry rides along the peaceful Talpona River estuary Sea Water Sports and a wide range of exciting water sports like banana rides, parasailing, kayaking, and jet-skiing.

Everything You Need to Know About Goa: Sea Water Sports and Vacation The sunsets here are magical. They turn the calm sea gold and steal hearts and camera shutters.

The best time to visit is between October and March, when the weather is perfect for both relaxing and having fun.

Must-try experiences:

1. Enjoy the Peaceful Beachscape: Rajbagh Beach is a pristine, one-kilometre-long beach located in the Canacona area of South Goa. It is lined with tall palm and pine trees and has luxury resorts like Rajbagh Residency nearby. It's clean and not very busy, and it's kept in perfect condition, making it great for relaxing walks or lounging around.

2. Indulge in Water Activities: At the mouth of the Talpona River, you can still take a charming hand-paddled ferry ride, which is becoming less common in Goa. The calm, low-tide waters are perfect for swimming, and lifeguards are always on duty to keep an eye on things. Using local boats to fish makes it feel more real.

3. Explore Nearby Nature and Birdwatching: You can find great places to watch birds or riverside gems like Sadolxem Bridge, which is known for its colourful boats and birds that live in the backwaters. People who want to have an adventure can take local boats to Monkey (Canacona) Island to go boating or fishing. It's a great way to relax and have fun.

4. Witness Turtle Nesting: Within a short drive lies Galgibaga (Turtle) Beach, one of Goa’s key Olive Ridley nesting sites. From December to February, lucky visitors might witness hatchlings racing into the sea. The area remains naturally preserved, limiting infrastructure and enhancing its pristine ambiance.
