Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, dates back over 1,500 years to the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De. This pagoda is a beacon of spiritual and historical significance. Originally located on the banks of the Red River, it was relocated to the small island of West Lake in the 17th century.

The temple's highlight is the colossal bronze statue of Tran Vu, which stands nearly four metres high and weighs about four tons. Located near the southern tip of West Lake, the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex are of great national significance. Adjacent to the palace is the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh, the revered leader of Vietnam, is preserved.
