About Yorkshire Wolds Way

Feel thrilled as you start your walking tour on the Yorkshire Wolds Way, the 79 miles (127-km) walking route in the Yorkshire Wolds. The trail is a part of the National Trail Network and has the route well marked, making it one of the popular tourist attractions in York. You can also avail of a guidebook and then start your journey from Filey near Scarborough. Most of the trail is smooth with some hilly areas rising up to 800 feet. It will take you six days if you want to cover the full trail and reach Hull, the final destination. So, you will need to stop at the well-equipped campsites or B&Bs for the night along the way. 

The trail will take you through the gorgeous scenic areas of the North Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Wolds and you will also see some of the tranquil English countrysides. You will also have the option to stop at the various highlights that will be along your route. A few of these attractions are the deserted medieval village of Wharram Percy, Madhyamaka Meditation Centre, Humber Bridge, Aquarium - The Deep, and others.
