The temple is known for a legendary six-meter-high trident(trishul), with a copper button and iron shaft, believed to have been used by the goddess herself. This temple radiates a powerful spiritual aura, especially during the Navratri and daily aartis. Located directly opposite the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, visitors can also touch the trishul and feel its vibration. If you put your entire body force on the trishul, it will not even move, but if you just use one finger, the trishul will start to vibrate. The Shakti Temple is built in the Himalayan stone style and offers both architectural charm and a serene riverside environment that feels appealing to seekers of divine energy and cultural heritage.

Nachiketa Taal is a serene and picturesque high-altitude lake located in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, India. Situated at an altitude of around 3,100 meters (10,170 feet) above sea level, it is surrounded by lush green forests, snow-capped peaks, and a tranquil environment, making it a popular spot for nature lovers and trekkers. The lake is named after Nachiketa, a sage from Hindu mythology, and it is believed that the sage meditated here to attain spiritual enlightenment

Dodital trek is a short trek and must to do when you are on trekking in Uttaranchal tour. Difficulty ranges from easy to moderate through thick forests and across majestic Himalayas landscapes, large meadows and stream crossings. The trek begins from Sangamchatti (kalyani) road near Uttarkashi and completes at the Hanumanchatti. From Dodital Lake, you will need to trek uphill to reach the Darwa pass, also called as Bakaria Khaga pass. The tranquil and pristine Dodital lies beyond the canyon of the Bhagirathi River between Ganga and Yamuna river valleys.A little ascend will take you to the Darwa Top, 4450 meters from where the mighty Swargarohini, Bandarpunch seem so close that you will feel that you can touch them with the stretch of a hand.The route was originally used by local Gujjar shepherd who brought their cattle for grazing.
