There are tigers but visitors are best advised not to obsess to a point where enjoyment turns on sightings of tigers alone.

Pench Tiger Reserve has multiple gates. We entered from the gate at Turia. Safari starts early in the morning in a systematic manner by forest officers & allocated one the three routes for the safari in an open 4WD Gypsy.

Spotted tiger crossing the road...it was an awesome experience. Lots of deer and peacocks also saw wild gaur and jackal... overall very nice place if you are interested in wildlife

Only 80 tigers in the national park but we saw 6 which was unusual. I stayed at the Tree House Hideaway and had a wonderful guide.

Kanha has a diverse landscape from thick forests to wetlands & open plains so you see a great variety of animals including Tigers. We were lucky to see a Tigress, on our 4th game drive in Kanha she was magnificent crossed the road in front of us & then walked passed at a distance of about 3 metres.

Pench is a good place to sight a tiger. It's relatively a new forest. So you would see thin trees and very little bushes or grass. Which helps in tiger sighting.

Visited Pench Tiger Reserve total 4 safaris. The sight of Tigers in 3 safaris which was the luckiest for us. Spotted Deer, Monkeys, Sambars, Jackals, Peacocks, etc also. It was a memorable experience. The Jungle Resort ‘Bazz’ gave us an excellent service throughout. Best Luck!
