Bali Group Tour Packages

Reviewed by Thrillophilia Bali Operations Team

Bali group tour packages for 4 to 8 days start at INR 22,000 per person and go up to INR 84,000. These packages include destinations like Ubud, Kuta, and Denpasar. Each package is carefully designed with verified accommodations, 24/7 on-the-ground assistance, and smooth internal transfers.

Bali is well known for its cultural and spiritual sites. In Bali, you not only experience spiritual things but also get to experience jungle safaris in Ubud and sunsets in Uluwatu. A must-visit is the black beach due to volcanic residue in Canggu.

Group travel is actually a rewarding experience, from creating lasting memories to splitting costs. Indian passport holders require an eVisa, which costs INR 2,700 for a 30-day stay. Thrillophilia guides its travellers through every booking and passport application, and provides clear planning of the trip. You can go for high-end resort accommodation in areas like Seminyak and Nusa Dua. Over 10,000 verified travellers have rated Thrillophilia 4.8, which reflects our work on our smooth itinerary planning and itineraries and packages built for every traveller.

Group Airport Transfers

If you’re booking Bali group tours without flights, your only job is to book the airline based on your preference and budget; once you land at Denpasar Airport, we'll handle the rest. You get a private group transfer and drive to Kuta within 15 minutes and Seminyak within 20 minutes. Based on your group size, we allocate a private SUV or minibus as per availability.

Vinay Mehta, one of our verified travellers from Mumbai who booked the Bali Tour Package with Kuta and Ubud from India package shared in April 2026 that “The Bali package from India was seamlessly put together – flights, transfers, and hotels were all handled without a single hiccup. Ubud's rice terraces and the sacred monkey forest were magical in a very quiet, meditative way. Kuta brought the energy with its beach clubs and sunset views that are genuinely hard to beat. Overall, a perfect mix of the spiritual and the fun side of Bali.”

Visa Requirements for Indian Tourists

Indian travellers either need a Visa on Arrival (VOA) physically at the airport in Bali or apply for a 30-day Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) or a tourist visa (B211A) online through the official Indonesian e-Visa website.

Steps to Apply for e-VOA

  • Go to the official Indonesian e-Visa website and then to the Directorate General of Immigration portal and create your account.
  • Select 'Apply' and 'India’ as your nationality, 'tourism' as your reason for visiting, and 'B1' (Tourist Visa on Arrival) or the relevant e-Visa type.
  • Upload your passport-size photo, the front page of your passport (six months' validity), and your return/onwards flight ticket.
  • Pay your visa application fees (approx. IDR 500,000) via credit and debit cards.

Note: Do not forget to carry your e-VOA application proof with you while travelling. Prior application of e-VOA means avoiding queues in the airport for VOA while travelling, which would be a smoother and time-saving process.

Documents you need for VOA

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months.
  • Scanned copy of passport personal data page.
  • Passport-size photograph.
  • Confirmed return or onward ticket.
  • Proof of accommodation/hotel booking

Note: You can also visit the office website of the Consulate General of India, Bali, for complete information.

Bali Tourist Levy: Separate From the VOA

Bali’s foreign tourist levy is a mandatory tax that is completely different from VOA or e-VOA. Every international tourist, including children of any age, must pay these fees before entering this province.

  • Fees of the levy: IDR 150,000 per person (~₹750 to ₹900, subject to exchange rates)
  • It is excluded from flight and tour tickets, which need to be paid for directly by the travellers.
  • The transactions need to be cashless.
  • Before arriving, either apply on the official Love Bali website or download the Love Bali app on your smartphone.
  • If you fail to apply online, you can use the designated cashless bank kiosks located inside the international terminal at Ngurah Rai International Airport by using an international credit/debit card.

Best Time To Plan a Bali Group Tour Package

April and October are considered the best months to go on a Bali group tour. The island is less crowded, and shops and restaurants offer different offers and schemes to attract the travellers. June to August is considered the kite season in Bali, a kite festival that locals celebrate with the same energy as Indians celebrate Makar Sankranti.

Peak Season

July to August and December to January are Bali’s busiest and most expensive months. As a result of heavy tourism, the island earns a lot from tourism. December to January gets the travellers because of the New Year holiday, and the months of July and August give you dry weather accompanied by little rain. Considering Indian school holidays, March and April also see a significant peak in tourism.

Shoulder Season

The March-to-June and September windows are considered the most suitable times for a group trip. Pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and reasonable flight and hotel rates make this window more preferable for the Bali group tour package. Activities like Nusa Penida and Mount Batur treks and Ubud jungle exploration are easy to do without any rush or chances of cancellation.

Monsoon Season

The monsoon season usually starts in November and lasts till February, accompanied by frequent afternoon rain showers that are short but intense. Temperatures hover between 25 and 30 degrees with high humidity; however, the island changes beautifully, with lush greenery blanketing the entire island. Lower flight and villa rates during this period make it an attractive, budget-friendly window for group travellers.

Places To Visit On Your Bali Group Trip

Here are some of the best places to visit in Bali:

  • Uluwatu Temple – It sits on cliffs 70 metres above the Indian Ocean, giving it some of the best sunset views in Bali. Uluwatu is one of Bali’s main attractions among the sea temples. It is also home to the famous Kecak Fire Dance, a cultural performance. The experience feels more powerful because it happens right as the sun goes down around 6 pm. Book in advance as seats fill up quickly.
  • Tulamben – Two hours from Ubud and home to USAT Liberty. Tulamben is the most visited because of a special attraction: an American cargo ship that sank during WW2; it rests just metres from the shore. You can go snorkelling too.
  • Nusa Penida – A 45-minute speedboat ride from Sanur or Padang Bai. You can go for a full-day trip to Nusa Penida with your group. The trip covers Kelingking Beach, Angel's Billabong and Crystal Bay, which is best for snorkelling.
  • Tegalalang Rice Terraces – They were recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012. Paid entry for swing and hanging bridge attractions. Try to visit before 9 AM to avoid the major group rush.
  • Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest – Home to 700+ long-tailed macaques who live among the ancient temples and dense tropical trees. To cover the whole jungle, it takes you one and a half hours. Be aware and careful with food, loose bags, and sunglasses, as macaques often grab them in a flash.
  • Kuta Beach – With free entry, you get to enjoy wide, golden and well-equipped surf schools. All this together makes the atmosphere more lively. Try out fresh seafood and BBQ dinners at Jimbaran Beach.
  • Sekumpul Waterfall – Widely considered Bali's most beautiful waterfall, Sekumpul is a cluster of six individual cascades dropping roughly 80 metres into a lush jungle gorge in the island's north. Reaching the falls requires a two-hour trek each way through forest and rice fields, making it best suited for groups comfortable with moderate physical activity.

Things To Do On A Bali Group Tour

Here are some of the best things to do in Bali:

  • Bali Swing, Ubud – The most famous attraction in Bali is the Bali Swing, which goes over jungle canopies and rice paddy valleys. A morning visit works best, as it offers clear weather and fewer crowds. Groups who are looking for a quieter area can go for the Wanagiri Hidden Hills in north Bali. The activity starts with a price of INR 1,500 per person based on the package.
  • Bali Safari and Marine Park – As per your time and choice, you can go for a half-day or full-day tour. The safari covers lions, dolphins, Komodo dragons, and tram safaris. Entry fees start at INR 2,800 per person.
  • Mount Batur Sunrise Trek – Usually, our past group travellers have mentioned that departing from Ubud between 2 AM and 3 AM and reaching the summit of Mount Batur at sunrise makes the trek comfortable. Note one thing: the trip requires proper fitness. The best season for the trek is between April and October, with clear roads and weather conditions.
  • Bali Zoo – This works well for people who book a Bali family tour package, as this is a relaxed half-day activity. You can spot zebras, gibbons, otters, monkeys, and a few others.
  • White Water Rafting – River rafting on the Ayung River through nine kilometres of jungle and rice terrace scenic beauty. The activity runs for two to three hours on water, so try to book the morning slot. A person under seven years is not allowed for river rafting.
