The Road Trip from Kolkata to Bodhgaya Via Dhanbad Tour is perfect for you as it will help you explore the spiritual as well as the historical side of Bihar. The tour traces the footsteps of Buddha and takes you to all of the most important places he visited.

- Visit the Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana or the Diamond Throne and The Animesh Lochana Dungeshwari Caves, 80 ft Buddha Statue, different country monasteries, archaeological museums and Sujata Garh in Bodhgaya.
- Visit local sightseeing tour to Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Belur Math (Ramakrishna Mission), Howrah Bridge / Hooghly river, Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium, St. John’s Church, Marble Palace in Kolkata.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival at Kolkata and Local Sightseeing

    Meet the representative at a pre-decided spot in Kolkata where he will give you a quick overview of the tour.

    You will then be transferred to the hotel where you can freshen up before heading out for the sightseeing tour of Kolkata.

    Embark on a local sightseeing tour to Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Belur Math (Ramakrishna Mission), Howrah Bridge / Hooghly river, Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium, St. John’s Church, Marble Palace.

    Return back to the hotel in Kolkata for an overnight stay.

  • Day 2 - Kolkata - Dhanbad

    Start your day with a wholesome breakfast.

    Check out from the hotel and proceed towards Dhanbad.

    On the way take a stopover at Durgapur and have Lunch in a restaurant.

    On reaching Dhanbad check in to the Hotel and take some rest.

    Overnight stay at the hotel in Dhanbad.

  • Day 3 - Dhanbad - Bodhgaya

    Enjoy early morning breakfast before leaving for Bodhgaya.

    Then you can proceed to visit the Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana or the Diamond Throne and The Animesh Lochana in Bodhgaya.

    Later check in to the hotel for an overnight stay in Bodhgaya.

  • Day 4 - Bodhgaya Local Sightseeing

    Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning.

    Visit Dungeshwari Caves, 80 ft Buddha Statue, different country monasteries, archaeological museums and Sujata Garh.

    Later in the evening return back to the hotel.

    The rest of the day is at leisure.

    Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 5 - Departure from Bodhgaya

    Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning.

    Later check out from the hotel and travel back to Kolkata.

    Once you reach Kolkata it marks the end of the tour.
