Know Before You Go
- Vehicles are strictly point-to-point as per the itinerary and are not on disposal. Deviations are only permitted in cases such as bad weather, roadblocks, social disturbances, VVIP movements, or transport restrictions by local authorities.
- Sumo/Bolero and similar vehicles are restricted in Sikkim’s main market areas between 08:00 AM – 08:00 PM, hence direct pick-up/drop-off at hotels in such zones may not be possible.
- Nathula Pass visit can be added at an additional cost of INR 4,000 per vehicle (payable directly), subject to availability and only if Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir are included in the itinerary.
- Foreign nationals are not permitted to visit Baba Mandir.
- Sightseeing points missed due to delays, weather, permits, or other factors beyond control will not be eligible for refunds or discounts.
- Valid ID proof (Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) is mandatory at the time of booking and upon arrival. PAN Card and Aadhaar Card are not accepted as valid address proof in Sikkim.
- Permits are required for visiting many high-altitude regions (e.g., Nathula, Gurudongmar, Tsomgo Lake). Carry 2–3 passport-sized photos & photocopies of your ID for the same.
- Due to hilly terrain, travel times may be longer than expected. Be prepared for winding roads and possible delays.
- Network connectivity can be spotty in remote areas; carry offline maps and inform family in advance.
- Pack warm clothing, rain gear, and sturdy shoes regardless of season, as weather changes suddenly in the mountains.
- Wildlife, flora, and the fragile Himalayan ecosystem are protected—do not pluck plants or disturb natural habitats.
- Respect local culture, monasteries, and traditions. So, dress modestly when visiting religious sites.
