Camping In Meghalaya Overview

Take a day off and enjoy a perfect getaway in Mawsynram. This place is packed with tons of attractions which makes it an ideal spot for a weekend adventure. Mawsynram receives the highest rainfall in the World, it is reportedly the wettest place on Earth. 

Reach at the campsite & take time to rest unwind, and get rejuvenated while camping in front of a Lake. Check-in by 01:00 PM. Walk around the vicinity and explore the location. Once settled down, enjoy the locally prepared meals. Try various activities at the campsite like trekking, kayaking, fishing, swimming & caving (at own expense). Bird-watching enthusiasts can treat themselves to the sights in the evening with mouthwatering snacks. “Star light, Star bright let’s stay outside tonight”, the phrase going in the mind again & again while experiencing stargazing with the light of a bonfire & delicious dinner. 

After breakfast head back to the city with beautiful memories. Further the campsite offers Luxury safari tents with twin bedded cottage tents, pillows & blankets. The tents are spacious to keep the luggage & have a clean attached washroom.

How to reach?
You can easily drive till Mawsynram from guwahati or Shillong. The drive is beautiful and very picturesque & you can hire a cab to reach the campsite.

Camping In Meghalaya: Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees

  • If cancellations are made 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

    Highly-Recommend! the location is so perfect with beautiful sceneries, the whole campsite was clean and well-maintained. Both days and night we enjoyed the camps and had a great experience in a nature walk, and explore the place by trekking and sightseeing and even took part in the other activity. It is the place that nobody gets bored. Manageable staff and a friendly owner, Must-visit this camp because it's suitable for family with kids, friends, couples, and a solo traveler too.
