Overview

Known to be one of the most cultural and historical cities in the world, Florence is the capital of the Tuscany region of Italy. Birthplace of the Renaissance movement, the city lies in the central region of Italy. With this tour, you get to explore Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and Chianti.

About the Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni & Chianti Day trip from Florence:
With most being just a car ride away, explore the four places namely Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Chianti on this tour. The tour starts with us visiting Monteriggioni. A hilltop gem, the village is a beautiful fortress suspended in time.  Assassin's Creed fans might recognize this stone village as the setting of the famous game.

Siena is the next destination on the list. At this site, you get to visit the Duomo and the Piazza del Campo. Next, we drive to San Gimignano. This place is well-know for Vernaccia, skyscrapers, and its white wine. Also, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the best ice cream in Italy can be found here.

After freely exploring the place we get to visit the Chianti area. It is renowned for its postcard-ready landscapes. in the end, we sample the best Chianti red wine inside a beautiful and sprawling wine estate, along with homemade snacks.

Light lunch and tasting of traditional pastries are included in the package.

Meet up location: Piazzale Montelungo, Bus terminal, next to Santa Maria Novella Train Station.
