  • Start the trip from Hanoi, get transferred to Sapa where several ethnic minority groups such as Hmong, Dao and Tay live.

Trek To Sapa In Vietnam Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Free day in Hanoi and night train to Sapa

    Enjoy the day at your own leisure in Hanoi.

    You will be picked up from the City Center around 07:30 PM and taken to the Hanoi railway station.

    Board the train at 09:00 PM to Lao Cai.

  • Day 2 - Sapa - Cat Cat and Sin Chai village

    You will arrive at Lao Cai at around 6:00 AM.

    Get transferred to Sapa, travek for one hour to reach there.

    Check-in to your hotel and have breakfast before you commence trekking to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of the Black H'Mong tribes.

    In Cat Cat you can see a waterfall, and in the afternoon, explore Sapa on your own.

    Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Sapa town.

    On Saturdays, you may have to stop at the Love Market.

    Today, you will trek for 2.5 hours to cover 4 kilometers.

    Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

  • Day 3 - Sapa - Lao Chai and Ta Van village

    Post breakfast, you can get ready to indulge in today's adventurous activities.

    Check-out, but you can leave your luggage at the hotel.

    Trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Day tribes, then keep trekking through the Sapa valley until you reach Ta Van village.

    Ta Van is one of the most beautiful villages in the area.

    Enjoy a picnic lunch en route.

    Return to Sapa by motorbike or jeep.

    Stay overnight in Sapa.

    Today you will be trekking for 6 hours trekking to cover 13 kilometers.

    Breakfast and Lunch

  • Day 4 - Sapa free day and then to Hanoi

    Enjoy the morning at leisure today.

    There will be an option to walk toward Ham Rong Mountain, which is a remarkable tourist attraction in the center of Sapa town.

    It is shaped like a dragon’s head in the clouds and at a height of 2000 meters.

    Traditional art performances are sometimes organized for tourists.

    From the top, enjoy a breathtaking view over the romantic Sapa town.

    In the late afternoon, you will be transferred by bus to Lao Cai.

    Board the train to Hanoi.

    Breakfast and Lunch

  • Day 5 - Arrival at Hanoi

    Reach the Hanoi railway station around 5:00 AM.

    Get picked up and transferred to the City Center.

    The trip ends here.
