Rana Fateh Singh was a huge fan of art and architecture which is clearly evident by looking at the stunning interiors of Badal Mahal. The palace is an ideal example of Rajasthani architectural style with intricate carvings, vibrant frescoes, beautiful murals, wall paintings depicting real-life events and elegant balconies.
The architecture of Badal Mahal was laid out in a way that it receives plenty of natural light and air. Just like the rest of the fort, it is also divided into two sections, namely, mardana (for men) and zenana (for women). Due to its elevated location, Badal Mahal offers astounding views of the entire city, giant mountains as well as the Thar Desert.
On your Rajasthan trip, apart from Badal Mahal, you can also explore other significant sections of the Kumbhalgarh Fort. You can offer your prayers at temples of the fort like Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Vedi Temple and Bawan Devi Temple. Additionally, there are a total of seven gates, huge courtyards, spacious halls and several rooms.
