Govindgarh Palace

Govindgarh Palace was a summer retreat to the King of Rewa as it is surrounded by some enchanting waterfalls in the area like Keonti, Chachai, and Bahuti. The construction dates back to the year 1882 AD, and this palace is a work of the Baghela Dynasty.

Installed on the shores of Govindgarh Lake, the palace is also considered as Mini Vrindavan and is famous for the Sundreja Mangoes and its breezy location. Govindgarh Palace is also encircled with many sacred temples of Madhya Pradesh, namely Chowandi Temple, Hanuman Temple, and Ram Govind Temple. It establishes itself as one of the places to visit in Rewa for witnessing the historical architecture blending with the surrounding natural oasis.

Timing: 10 AM to 5:30 PM on all days of the week.
