Purwa Falls

Falling from a height of 70 meters, Purwa fall is a sight for the sore eyes. Another classic example of a Knickpoint is sure to interest the geography enthusiasts. Purwa falls is also descent off the Rewa plateau and the water is sourced from Tamsa or Tons river.

There are stories associated with this fall in the Hindu epic Ramayana which is a wonderful picnic spot today. It is one of the top five waterfalls in Rewa district and a must-visit place for everyone to admire the unique topography.
