About Hussain Tekri Sharif Dargah

Built in the 19th century by Mohammad Iftikhar Ali Khan Bahadur who was the Nawab of Jaora, the dargah of Hussain Tekri is renowned for curing the incurably ill people. The shrine of Imam Hussain, known for its Haziri rituals, is visited by a large number of people during Muharram. 

People following various religions visit the place as it is believed that the Haziri rituals help in exorcism from genies and ghosts and heal psychological diseases. The dargah is one of the timeless places to visit in Ratlam that will enthral history enthusiasts. 

The shrine of Imam Hussain in Hussain Tekri is popular as the tombs of its founder Mohammad Iftikhar Ali Khan Bahadur and Mohammad Ismail is present here.
