About Nehru Garden

The island garden, Nehru Garden, is located in the midst of Lake Fatehsagar, spread across 4.5 acres. This beautiful garden is named after the first Prime Minister of India, Jawahar Lal Nehru. It was inaugurated on 14th November 1967, Nehru Ji’s birthday. This beautiful botanical garden is famous for its scenic location, mesmerising flora and birds, fun boat ride, and stunning views of Sajjangarh Palace and City Palace.


This unique garden has a lovely park with a lily pond, a small zoo for children, and a floating restaurant in the style of a boat. In addition to this, the garden has a water area in the shape of a pyramid that resembles the Brindavan Garden in Mysore. 


It is one of the most famous tourist attractions of Udaipur and is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of nature and scenic views. on your trip to Udaipur
