St. John's Church, Norway

About St. John's Church

Within, the ceiling has lovely murals that were painted by Hugo Lous Mohr in 1924. The beautiful altarpiece in the church, which was made by Marcus Grønvold in 1894 and shows Christ praying, is its focal point. Take note of the 1967 renovation of the Schlag & Söhne organ, which enhances the acoustic appeal of the church.

Admire the four stair towers and the carillon, which is part of the city's largest church tower. Located in the heart of Bergen, St. John's Church is a tranquil spot that also showcases the city's rich history and architecture.
