Fishing Camp In Coorg Overview

Grab the opportunity to stay at a campsite located around a man-made lake and surrounded by a stream that flows during the monsoons. This eco-friendly fishing camp in Coorg is powered with solar-energy for all its electricity requirements with coffee estates all around. The pond inside the property has approximately 5000 fishes and you can get to see the fishes swim in the pond any time of the day.

The stay, at this property, is offered in tents. You will be provided with mattresses, pillows, and blankets with your tents. The tents will be allocated on a double or triple sharing basis based on availability. The fishing camp in Coorg site features common washrooms for visitors. The accommodation is nestled amidst some of the most beautiful views that you will fall in love with. 

The site features multiple activities for all visitors. While here you can get indulged into kayaking, swimming, and trekking. Kayaking is one of the most adventurous activities and is suitable for all the thrill lovers. Whereas swimming soothes all the people and trekking is an altogether different fun activity. How To Reach Coorg Fishing Camp: 
The Fishing campsite is located around 10 km from KSRTC Bus Stand on Gonikoppa Road. You can reach the campsite by public or private transport.

Fishing Camp In Coorg Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Since you have booked the day out, you are free to do what you want but a guideline DIY itinerary can be as follows:

    12.00 PM - 12:15 PM - Check in to the Fishing Homestay / Campsite in Coorg

    12.15 PM - 01:30 PM - Check in to the room/camp.

    01:30 PM - 02:30 PM - Lunch would be ready to serve.

    02:30 PM - 05:30 PM - Head out for your Guided Fishing Session and Kayaking.

    05:30 PM - 06:30 PM - After fishing, Guided Coffee Plantation Tour will take place.

    06:30 PM - 07:30 PM - After the guided tours, you will be provided with Snacks and Hi tea.

    07:30 PM - 09:00 PM - Sit around the Campfire and enjoy.

    09:00 PM - Dinner and overnight at homestay / camp.

  • Day 2 - Fishing Camp In Coorg

    06:00 AM - 08:30 AM - Start the day with a guided short trek (3 km).

    08:30 AM - 11:00 AM - Have your breakfast and spend a quality morning amidst nature.

    The experience left me speechless. I’ve always wanted to learn the art of fishing, but never got the chance. I’m glad that Thrillophilia recognised the need of enthusiasts like me. He stay was very comfortable in camps, and very well organised throughout. In fact, there was also a personal kitchen for vegetarians! The rest of us were busy fishing and cooking the caught fish. For this price, we got an amazing deal, I think. Thanks, will recommend it to al fishing lovers! Do not hesitate. The tour guide Mr. Rao was very passionate and helpful. Taught us a couple of local recipes too!

    Activities were the main highlight at this camp, the homemade foods were incredibly delicious, the campsite is breathtaking with good background photos, the host was respectful and supportive... Fishing was one of my favorite activities. Overall everybody enjoyed the place.

    I don't think there is another place in South India like Coorg. The fragrance of the greenery was very welcoming. Had a great weekend getaway with this fishing camp. The homestay had really good rooms. I liked the stay and the fishing activity. Thanks.
