There are plenty of options for day trips from Seville and one of the best to include is Córdoba, which was once the capital of the Islamic era of the city and it’s easy to see why. Cordoba is home to the stunning Mezquita, a mosque-turned-cathedral with an incredible interior and it should be included in your day trip. Other highlights for places to visit near Seville include the Alcázar de Los Reyes Cristianos. It is a former palace used by Christian kings during the Reconquista, and the Judería (Jewish Quarter), which is full of charming narrow streets and patios filled with flowers.
Seville Day Trips also include some great places to try traditional Spanish foods such as tapas and paella. You could visit the Roman ruins of Italica, just outside the city. One can also consider visiting the hilltop town of Carmona during your day trip. This small town is home to some beautiful architecture, including the well-known Carmona Church. You can visit the nearby villages of Cala Larga and Cala Mayor, both of which are known for their beautiful beaches. If you're a fan of wine, you might want to head to Jerez de la Frontera for a tour of one of its many bodegas.
