The Bryggens Museum, located in Bergen houses artefacts and archaeological material from Bergen and Vestlandet in the Middle Ages, which were findings of the archaeological excavations of Bryggen for 13 years from 1955. 

Located on the southwestern coast of Norway in the city of Bergen, is one of the best-preserved fortifications of the country, the Bergenhus Fortress, or Bergenhus Festning.

Located at the northern end of Torgallmenningen, in the main square of the city of Bergen, Norway, is the 7-metre-high Sailors Monument. The monument is a tribute to the country's maritime heritage, and honours the contributions of Norwegian sailors throughout the ages, recognizing their vital role in the nation's history and development. The cuboid-shaped monument was designed by the sculptor Dyre Vaa and was unveiled to the public on 7th June 1950. 

Solheimsviken, located in Bergen, Norway, is a historically significant neighborhood that has transformed into a vibrant business and residential area. Situated along the Damsgårdssundet strait, it was originally an industrial hub with shipyards and factories playing a crucial role in Bergen's economy. Today, Solheimsviken is known for its modern waterfront developments and innovative architectural projects.

Known to be one of the most important Renaissance monuments in Norway, the Rosenkrantz Tower was the residence of Magnus the Lawmender in the 13th century. This tower has its origin in the 1270s and has undergone renovation several times for fortification purposes. However, in the 16th century, it was turned into the Governor’s castle. 

The Bergen Aquarium is a popular museum in the heart of Bergen, Norway. If you are into exploring marine life, it is a dream destination for you! Opened in 1960, it is regarded as one of Norway's oldest and most renowned aquariums. The aquarium boasts various exciting exhibitions featuring over 60 tanks filled with diverse marine species from around the globe. Some must-visit areas of the aquarium are the engaging seal and sea lion shows, the immersive Tropical Rainforest Exhibit, and the lively Penguin Colony. 

At Bergen's Aktiv Tollbodkai Lekeplass, you'll enter a lively, temporary city place that's full of fun things to do. This spot used to be a busy dock, but now it's a colourful playground just for kids and teens aged 12 to 18. Toys like exercise stands, carousels, and one-of-a-kind play structures made from recycled materials, like old barrels turned into colourful pavilions, are mixed in this area.
