Mehrangarh Fort

The breath-taking robust structure of Mehrangarh Fort nestles at 400 feet above the skyline of Jodhpur. It had been the abode to Rajput’s for over 5 centuries that now stands as an epitome of power and prestige.
It was built during the rule of Rao Jodha in the year 1459. It sits on a 125 m high hill and is spread over an area of 5 sq. kilometres.
