Rated as one of the most incredible things to do in Santorini, the hiking path from Fira to Oia takes you through sidewalk, cobblestone paths, and parts are a dirt path. Akrotiri is an ancient settlement from the Cycladic Bronze Age and visiting this place is one of the historical things to do in Santorini. This once-a-wealthy settlement was destroyed due to volcanic eruption and today, a trip to Ancient Akrotiri takes you to the remains which are 3,500 years old.

This archeological site is well preserved and tourists can spend about an hour or two watching the relics like wall-paintings, furniture, and vessels on display. Ancient Akrotiri is also referred to as Pompeii of the Aegean.

Located on the small, uninhabited islet of Palea Kameni, the Santorini Hot Springs have therapeutic warm waters of about 30 to 35 degrees Celsius that are just so soothing for swimming.
