Public bus services are run by the SPTC and are available on Praslin and Mahé, two among three of the most visited Islands in Seychelles. The fares are very reasonable and cost approx. 40 cents per ride or 23 INR. Busses run daily between 5:30am and 8:30pm.
If you are planning to use busses frequently during your stay on either of the Island, it would be best to buy a SMART card for approx. $4 USD or 233 INR. These can be pre-loaded up to approx. 36 USD or 2,377 INR. This will ensure you can board the busses and not have the hassle of carrying change. SMART cards can be purchased from the SPTC office located in Latanier Road in Victoria.

If Mahé is your choice of Island, then you will have numerous car rental options, providing hassle free travel and little to no dependency on the local busses. However, you must be careful whilst driving around in Mahé as the roads can be steep and tight turns are very common.
Additionally, you have to drive on the left side in Seychelles, which can be challenging for many foreign driers who may often end up in rough situations. So, make sure you drive slow and keep your eyes glued on to the roads. However, if you are staying in Praslin, you may not want to hire a car as most hotel provide shuttle services and they have extensive public bus routes and busses ply rather regularly

There are no taxi companies in Seychelles. However, there are a number of privately owned cabs in Mahé and Praslin and few in La Digue.
Cabs can be hailed from busy streets in populated areas such as Victoria or you can call one directly. Taxi fares are quite reasonable, the first kilometre (i.e. .6 miles) cost approx. $1.6 USD or 88 INR every additional kilometre will cost approx. 50cents or 28 INR.
If you are planning on taking a taxi from Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) into Victoria, expect to pay approx. or $6 USD or 327 INR.
But if you are on a budget, STPC busses are an excellent alternative, but you will have to adhere to their schedule.

The best way to explore any of Seychelles islands is by ferry. Daily transportation is provided by Cat Cocos form Mahé to La Digue and Praslin. They also service the Praslin Quay, Mahé inter Island Cay in Vitoria and La Digue’s La Passe Quay.
Depending on the route a one-way trip can be anywhere from and hour to an hour and a half. On way trip can cost anywhere between 70 to 88 USD or 3902 to 5,633 INR approx. and prices vary depending on the itinerary. Inter-Island Ferry’s between La Digue and Praslin are more frequent.
One-way trip takes around 30 minutes. One-way trip cost around approx. $20 USD or 1,121 and approx. $36 USD or 2,018 INR for a round trip.

There is no airport in La Digue, however, Air Seychelles an inter-island carrier offers transport between Praslin and Mahé. The Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) is located approx. 8 km south of Victoria.
All flights from Mahé leave from the domestic terminal at the SEZ. The Praslin airport is located in the northwester coast of the island. Flights depart every hour and one-way trip takes around 15 minutes. Prices vary on season and departure time.
Luggage restrictions apply, carry-on bag cannot exceed 6 Kgs and checked baggage cannot exceed 31 Kgs. For a more luxurious option you can book helicopter rides from Zil Air. They fly between all inner island and prices start from approx. 398 USD or 22,029 INR.
