The Sanxia Zushi Temple is a prominent centre of Taiwan’s Zushi folk religion. The temple is dedicated to the worship of Qingshui Zushi, a monk from the Northern Song dynasty. Falling across a height of about 80 meters, Wulai is one of Taiwan’s largest waterfalls. While the main cascade here is clearly visible from a distance, there are several smaller streams hidden away beneath the foliage, only visible from a cable car ride.

The Waterfall itself is surrounded by thick forested areas on all sides, imbuing a peaceful charm to the place. There are some eateries around the Fall as well, that guests can explore at their own leisure.
