As we know, Laxmibai Shinde was a great patron of Sai Baba. She worked in the Masjid everyday without fail. Her character has appeared in all Sai Baba episodes in TV, and in books. Remarkably, Laxmibai Shinde was the only woman to enter into the mosque when the curtain was closed.

The most important thing in her house is a glass top box containing nine coins. Baba before breathing his last, he gave her Rs. 9/-. Some interpret it as nine types of devotion and others as the nine characteristics of a good disciple. This god’s place is situated close to Dwarakamai and main temple.
