Phaeng Waterfall

Centrally located at the stunning Koh Phangan island, Phaeng Waterfall is located in the Thansadej National Park and comprise of two separate waterfalls namely the Phaeng Yai Waterfall (the bigger one) and Phaeng Noi Waterfall (the smaller one). It is the tallest waterfall on the island. It is one of those waterfalls in Koh Phangan which is quite easy to access and a bicycle ride can be the most appropriate way to reach it. You can also trek all the way to the falls.
The Phaeng Noi waterfall is merely fifty meters away from the park entrance while Phaeng Yai is accessible by trekking for two hundred and fifty-meter on a steep route. The trek route to the waterfall is jam-packed with lush greenery, natural beauty, and plentiful wildlife. To relish the mesmerizing sight of the place you can take a refreshing dip in the cool waters of the large pool that conveniently sits at the waterfall base.

Paradise Waterfall

One of the most fun Koh Phangan Waterfalls is the Paradise waterfalls which would have the child in you activated. Having the entrance to the falls via a restaurant, you get straight to a massive pool. Further attractions here include hanging ropes from the trees overhead which transform the place into a jungle-gym all crafted naturally.
Imagine the fun while launching yourself high up in the air and swinging around like Tarzan before finally ending up in the cool waters of the pool. Apart from enjoying the pool, you can take up the trek to the main falls which might take around forty minutes for completion. The main waterfall sight is stunning and an absolute not to be missed sight. Additionally, there is a cascade with a swimming hole as a convenient attachment to it.

Sramanora Waterfall

Sramanora is quite a popular destination in Koh Phangan owing to the legendary parties that it hosts. There are all night long perfect parties held here which further has conveniently placed the Sramanora Waterfall on the map. The waterfall can be visited during the day hours but unlike various other Waterfalls in Koh Phangan you can also visit it during the night. The sight of the sparkling water of the falls under the light of the moon is truly romantic and breathtaking.
The five hundred meters walk to the waterfall from the parking space is via the jungle and is full of lush green vegetation. The falls offer two pools, a smaller and secluded one and another bigger pool which can be accessed by climbing up a hill and crossing a river. There is also a restaurant which offers both stunning views of the surroundings as well as delicious delicacies.

Wang Sai Waterfall

Nestled close to the Mae Head beach the Wang Sai Waterfall is quite easily accessible and can be reached by taking a mere fifteen minutes to walk from the southern beach. The way features signposts for guidance. Resembling an avalanche of boulders the waterfall is a stream which makes it way to deep down levels. Some of the various levels here feature water basins where one can enjoy taking a refreshing dip in the cool waters or enjoy swimming.
The largest water basin lies at the bottom. Owing to the limestone sedimentation the Wang Sai waterfall features blue coloured water at selective cascades which makes it one of the standout features out of all the Koh Phangan Waterfalls. The nearby surroundings of the location feature no human-made developments keeping the ambience absolutely natural and raw.

Than Sadet Waterfall

The Thaan Sadet waterfall is one of the waterfalls in Koh Phangan with a royal touch. Back in 1988, it was first and foremost visited by the Thai Royal family. Till date, the place features a rock inscription left behind by King Rama V. It is one of the most visited and scenic waterfalls in Koh Phangan. The water of this waterfall is also used for sacred Royal Ceremonies.
The waterfall comprises of large freshwater pools as well as massive boulders of granite. It is a cascading waterfall and you can begin at the top and trek all the way to the bottom and end the trek by taking a dip in the water of the pools beneath.
